Ep.405 The Creature at Sunshine Acres

Tonight, Al Santariga joins me from New York State to share the encounters he experienced in South Florida in 1974.

At approximately 12 years old, Al had travelled to Sunshine Acres in Davie, Florida, to spend the summer visiting his older sister and her family. While staying at their home near the Everglades, he says he watched a towering, red-eyed creature walk through the property. From only a short distance away, Al observed it through a darkened window as it screamed, ate a wild watermelon and stopped beside a nearby lake.

That summer would also bring reports of attacks on livestock and a terrifying incident involving a deputy sheriff’s patrol car. According to Al, a large creature emerged from the darkness and was struck by the police vehicle. It got back to its feet, looked inside the patrol car, screamed and struck the vehicle with both hands, lifting its rear from the road before limping away into the swamp.

Years later, Al returned to the paranormal as an investigator. His work has taken him deep into the forests of New York, where he reports encounters involving Sasquatch, Dogman, UFOs, spirits and alleged telepathic communication.
