The encounter
First, Tori in New Jersey recalls a 2014 sighting in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire. A huge round metallic object hung silently and motionless above nearby houses, frightening her companion enough to run inside and leave her alone beneath it. Then Tim in Ohio describes an encounter at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas between Christmas and New Year 1992, when he saw a spinning ball-like object roughly 200 feet above the runway during his early-morning rounds.
