His experiences began in childhood while living in Lebanon, when he and several other children suddenly found themselves frozen on a rooftop as a silent, egg-shaped craft hovered overhead. The moment ended with missing time, and years later, strange lights began appearing in the Australian night sky. Soon after came a terrifying bedroom encounter involving paralysis and the presence of unknown beings standing beside his bed. Following a later encounter, Peter noticed two unusual strands of white-blonde hair on his body. Uncertain what to make of the situation, he carefully collected the hairs and preserved them. In the years that followed, he began speaking with UFO researchers and became involved with the Sydney UFO group known as the UFO Experience Support Association, where he shared his account with others who reported similar encounters. It was through these connections that the preserved hair samples eventually drew the attention of investigators. Years later, those hair samples were reportedly examined through DNA testing, a case later documented by researcher Bill Chalker in the book Hair of the Alien: DNA and Other Forensic Evidence of Alien Abductions. The analysis reportedly found mitochondrial DNA that was human-like but with rare anomalies and an uncommon combination of genetic markers.
