Tonight on the podcast, we hear from two guests on opposite sides of the Atlantic whose lives have been marked by strange encounters.
First, Peter from Dorset, England, recalls a flight from Manila in the Philippines to London when passengers were suddenly ordered to close their window shutters. Curious, he left his half open and watched as a fast-moving object shot beneath the plane. What followed was even stranger: a disembodied voice in his mind instructing him to “tell them you saw too.” Decades later, the memory remains as vivid and puzzling as the day it happened.
Then we’re joined by Jimmy from Ohio, who grew up with nightly visitations in his apartment: shadow figures at his bedside and ghostly apparitions in the doorway. But after moving into a house, his experiences shifted into the realm of UFOs. He describes lights descending through the ceiling and repeated face-to-face encounters with a towering mantis-like being. Two voices, two continents, and two very different lives, but both Peter and Jimmy carry the same enduring question: what exactly is visiting us, and why?

Airplane Encounter (Main Event)
Shape of Object/s: Fast-moving object
Date: Early 2000s
Location: Manila and London (South China Sea)
Setting: Flight from Manila to London, daytime, above the clouds.
Event: The pilot instructed all passengers to close window shutters, citing turbulence. The witness half-closed theirs and saw:
A fast-moving object flying under the plane, about 200–300 feet below.
It traveled straight and level, unlike a missile, leaving behind a “moiling grey cloud” or smoke tube.
No visible wings, engines, or contrails.
The object disappeared into the horizon.
Odd detail: No turbulence was experienced, despite the pilot’s announcement.
Suspicion: The shutter request was to stop passengers from seeing the object.
Aftermath: The captain later announced the “turbulence” was over and shutters could be reopened.
Auditory Experience (After the Object Passed)
Phenomenon: The witness heard a male voice in their head saying, “Tell them you saw two.”
Confusion: They only saw one object. Later, they wondered if “two” referred to two witnesses rather than two objects.
Lingering puzzle: Who “them” was supposed to be remains unknown.
Disneyland (California) Sighting
Setting: Standing by the Walt Disney and Mickey statue, with a crowd.
Event: A man pointed out a light in the sky:
The light moved rapidly in a straight line, then turned at a perfect right angle.
It repeated this motion, then shot away.
Impression: Movements impossible for conventional aircraft.
Background: The witness has been interested in UFOs since childhood.
Personal detail: Imagines in a past life they may have been a Spitfire pilot.
Photography hobby: Has been taking photos since age six, wishes to capture one of these objects on film.

Apartment Years – Supernatural Activity
First apparition:
A glowing woman in a gown appeared at the foot of the bed, radiating peace before dissipating into sparkles.Ongoing nightly phenomena:
Shadow people standing beside the bed.
Bearded man apparition.
Woman with a young girl (sometimes the girl appeared alone).
Figures often stayed in the doorway, watching.
Poltergeist-like activity:
Cabinets slamming, strange noises, voices calling his name.
Friends were unnerved and refused to stay over.
House Years – UFO/Abduction-Type Experiences
Seeing through the ceiling:
Woke up able to see the night sky through a “wavy bubble” effect in the roof.Blue grid projection:
A neon-blue grid came through the ceiling, down the wall, across the bed. Witness’s wife partially aware of sounds.Orange orb encounter:
A glowing orange-yellow ball of light appeared in the backyard (next to a cemetery).
It advanced toward him at eye level, veered past his head, disappeared, then returned along the same path before vanishing.
Praying mantis being:
Very tall entity with insect-like features appeared by the bed.
Felt no fear, only curiosity, before blacking out.
Later, saw the same being (or similar) through a wavy, liquid-like opening in the wall, peering in from outside. Felt a sense of connection, as if it was checking on him.
Sleep-Related Experiences
Sleep paralysis:
Arms stretched out, unable to move.
Old hag-like woman’s face inches from his own, terrifying encounter.
Night terrors:
Lifelong history of waking in panic without recall of dreams.
Sometimes waking standing up, screaming.
Therapy reduced frequency from multiple times a week to about once a year.
Wife’s experience:
Once woke to hear him speaking in a voice that “wasn’t his.”
She also had a childhood incident of seeing a figure she thought was her uncle, but no one else was in the house.
Other Paranormal Experiences
Gray smoke manifestation:
At a friend’s house, the room filled with swirling gray smoke that dissipated suddenly.Recent UFO sighting (just days before):
Recorded a light in the sky changing colors (red, white, green), shifting and reappearing.
Past Life Regressions
Civil War soldier (Confederate side):
Shot in an orchard skirmish, recalled floating above body. Felt peace at never having killed anyone.Ancient Greece/Mediterranean:
Saw “413” as a number. Remembered dying young from illness while village men were away at war, felt regret at not being able to help.Therapy impact:
Believes regressions helped reduce night terrors and provided life lessons.
Became interested in Edgar Cayce and reincarnation research.
