4. MAJOR EVENT: TRIANGLE SIGHTING (Age 9 – 1998)

Setting: First Boy Scout camping trip, Lebanon State Forest, NJ (now Brendan T. Byrne State Forest).
Experience:

Lead-Up:

• Camped near a group of Wiccans whose chanting added to atmosphere.

• Very clear, moonlit night around 2–3 AM.

• Noticed total silence fall over the forest — insects and ambient sounds stopped.

• Felt artificial air pressure and static electric sensation on body.

Main Event:

• Massive black triangle craft emerged just above the trees.

  • Seamless, matte surface.

  • Three lights: white with aqua-blue haze, described as elemental, unlike anything explainable.

  • No central light or features, completely silent, hovering motionless.

  • Moved like a ship drifting on water.

Mental Connection:

• Felt a telepathic connection with the craft.

  • Wordless communication.

  • Clear sense that it was non-human and powerful.

  • Experienced a snapping/disconnection sensation in the head (likened to popcorn popping).

• Friend was present and overwhelmed, verbally repeating “he sees it.”

Aftermath:

• No alarm raised, no panic.

• Both went back to the tent and laid awake in silence.

• Never told adults at the time.

• Suppressed the memory until age 17.
